31 Weird Things About Retiring You Probably Didn’t Know

Retirees Part With Their Businesses

Business ownership is at 17.3 percent for both the 45 to 54 age group and the 55 to 64 age group, the highest of any age group according to the Federal Reserve’s 2016 Survey of Consumer Finance. The percentage drops to 13.3 percent for people age 65 to 74 and then falls even further to 8.5 percent for people age 75 and older.
