An inexpensive DVD movie at Target costs $4.99, while an inexpensive Blu-ray costs $7.49. Even those bargain prices are too high, however. With streaming sites starting at $7.99 per month for unlimited access to movies, there really is no financial reason to buy physical discs anymore.
