20 Money-Making Skills You Can Learn in Less Than a Year
Driving for Rideshare, Taxi or Delivery Services
Becoming a non-commercial driver doesn’t usually involve specific training, with many companies only requiring a valid state driver’s license and a good driving record. Opportunities include driving for a company like Uber or Lyft or becoming a delivery person or a private-hire driver.
If you want to be a taxi driver, some companies require completion of a one-day training course. Costs can range from $60 to $175 at the NYC Taxi Limo Training Center in Manhattan to $100 to $255 at the San Francisco Taxi School, for example.
