Similar to saying “yes” all the time, the habit of trying to do too many things and do them quickly can chip away at your sense of confidence. “It’s a vicious cycle,” explains Levy. “You are so busy that you rush through your decisions. Knee-jerk reactions are going to backfire.”

He suggests making a practice of meditating, journaling, and other habits that force you to stop, slow down, and really think about what you are doing.
