ALL NEWBORNS HAVE BLUE EYES
It’s true that the majority of newborns do have blue eyes. That’s because when we’re born, we have a low concentration of melanocytes, which are cells that play a role in eye pigmentation, as well as in colouring hair and skin.
It’s untrue, however, to say that ALL newborns have blue eyes. Around 20 per cent of young babies are born with different coloured eyes.
